Insights from the TRANSEARCH International 2024 Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Singapore
TRANSEARCH International recently held our annual Asia Pacific Conference in the beautiful city of Singapore. Our regional conferences unite our network of offices across Asia to meet, listen, learn, share ideas and collaborate on how we can help with the leadership needs of our client partners. In doing so, we are constantly enhancing our ability to provide international search services, leadership consulting and market intelligence to organisations across Asia Pacific.
I was excited that our global CEO, Celeste Whately, was able to join us in person this year and really pleased that we had senior representatives from every city in which we operate in our region, including Hong Kong (China), India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
High calibre presenters at the conference over two days included: Karen Greenbaum, CEO of our industry body, the AESC; Praveen Jagwani, CEO of UTI International Singapore; and Justin Schnoor, Head of Resourcing, SC Ventures.
A few key takes outs:

- Organisations are open to using executive search providers for advice on succession, remuneration, DEI, culture and leadership assessment
- AI is relevant to search firms and will increasingly play a bigger role in our industry as a co-pilot to human input
As economic shifts, technological innovation and sustainability goals reshape business across sectors, the need for industry-specific executive talent has never been greater. I find my connections with my TRANSEARCH colleagues around the world are incredibly useful when speaking with clients.
