Join us for an Interactive Luncheon on Performance Conversations in the Era of Psychosocial Safety
Join us for a luncheon discussion exploring how leaders are navigating performance conversations in an environment shaped by rising expectations around psychosocial safety. This first People and Culture Roundtable of the year is intended to set the tone for 2026 through a frank and practical conversation that many CPOs are increasingly confronting.
As psychosocial safety regulations continue to influence leadership and cultural expectations, organisations are grappling with how to hold clear and effective performance conversations without creating people and legal risk, or setting an unintended precedent. At the same time, CPOs are increasingly focused on building the confidence and capability of line managers to lead these conversations well.
Leaders are asking how to respond when psychosocial safety concerns are raised during performance discussions, and how to support managers to build and maintain the confidence to manage these in a way that is fair, human-centric and commercially sound.
This session will bring together senior People and Culture leaders to share real experiences, challenge thinking, and discuss what is genuinely working in practice, including how organisations are equipping managers to have robust, respectful, and consistent performance conversations.
The discussion will be enriched by the participation of Sam Pupillo, a highly regarded C-suite leader and non-practising lawyer, and Chanel Nesci, GM Culture, Wellbeing and Safety at BUPA and a registered psychologist.
This discussion will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule to encourage open and candid conversation.
For those who have not attended one of our Roundtables before, these luncheons offer a relaxed but focused environment where People & Culture Executives and business leaders come together to exchange ideas, broaden perspectives, and discuss the trends shaping the future of work.
A light lunch will be provided, and we look forward to your participation in what promises to be a highly engaging and valuable discussion.
