Dementia Australia (DA) is the national peak body and source of trusted information, education and services for the estimated half a million Australians living with dementia, and the almost 1.6 million people involved in their care. Dementia Australia advocates for positive change and support vital research. DA is here to support people impacted by dementia, and to enable them to live as well as possible.
DA provides a number of education and support programs virtually and has been at the forefront of developing digital aids for those providing care to people living with dementia.
To support these important works the Digital Engagement Manager works across the organisation to enable the Digital Engagement Strategy to deliver on brand promise and support Dementia Australia’s strategic direction. You will also be responsible for managing the website environment, and strengthening DA’s online presence including developing a digital strategy, managing external providers, assessing and making recommendations on technology and supporting Dementia Australia’s many digital platforms that engage with their external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience at both the strategic and operations level managing the backend of digital engagement, have a full understanding of current and emerging technologies and any legislative impacts that may be relevant as well as well developed people leadership skills. Your ability to work collaboratively across an organisation and provide digital expertise is essential.
You will have relevant tertiary qualification, have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role delivering digital engagement strategies.
